Grumpy's Metal is proudly a US based automotive parts manufacturer, making parts for the classic VW bug and bus. John Alba started over 30 years ago with automotive repairs when he bought his first VW beetle. In addition to service work, he also began making parts by hand. In the early 2000's, John took on the title as "Grumpy", and founded Grumpy's Metal, which is now machining, stamping and pressing parts in house. Over the decades, Grumpy's Metal has grown to become the world's largest supplier of sunroof parts for the classic sunroof Beetle and sunroof bus, in addition to manufacturing dozens of other parts for those iconic vehicles.
