Rhibo was founded in 1936 as a company specialised in producing vehicle parts for cars, bodywork - especially for tractors and trucks, bus seats and window (winder) control units. After many decades Rhibo began to specialise in the manufacture of spare parts for vehicles, and after more than 70 years since its start, it has become an undisputed leader in Italy with an After Market, Italy, share of 50%. In 1990 Rhibo amalgamated with FAMS, Parma and Maxicar, Turin. Nowadays Rhibo S.P.A. is part of Gruppo CSL, which has permitted the Bologna company to diversify significantly its production and products on offer, and due to this fact it obtained the ISO: 9002 certificate from TÜV Rheinland Italy, member of the TÜV Rheinland Group, an independent world leader of inspection and certification, not only for company production management but also for single products.
