Silver Weld Through (SWT)

This is the later model bulkhead, also known as 'full moon'  and is used from August 1963 to July 1967.
The reason why VW introduced a new model bulkhead at the time was very simple: because of a change in the arrangement of the seats. If your bus has a 1-piece front seat, then you need the half-moon bulkhead and if your bus has a 1/3 + 2/3 arrangement of the seats then this full moon bulkhead is required.

A top quality panel offering the best fit possible and finished in silver weld through primer. Thus eliminating the additional time required to prep a normal painted panel, just align, clamp and weld.
