The Pierburg electric fuel pump is a reliable and efficient upgrade or replacement for your stock mechanical pump, especially suited for classic Volkswagens and early Porsches. Designed to work seamlessly with twin carburettor setups, it delivers a steady 2.2psi at 100 litres per hour (22 gallons per hour), making it perfect for engines producing up to approximately 130hp.

This pump operates quietly and is compatible with both 6V and 12V systems. It features 8mm inlet and outlet fittings and comes complete with fuel hose clips and an isolated mounting strap for easy installation. No fuel pressure regulator is required when used with Weber or Dellorto carburettors. For best results, install with a clean inline fuel filter between the tank and the pump.

Pump should be mounted level with or below the fuel tank outlet, ensuring a constant supply of fuel.

Not suitable for fuel injected vehicles.
