100% brand new SSP 1641cc twin-port AD-code engine with mild-performance camshaft.
Features 'Big-Bore' 87 mm pistons and cylinders and an Engle 100 camshaft, this engine gives a useful increase in performance over standard.
These engines are built in the UK from 100% quality tested all new parts on a genuine VW universal crankcase. Assembled on an ISO 9002 certified assembly line they offer the ultimate in peace of mind.
Suitable for unleaded fuel.
Gasket kit, new oil cooler and flywheel also included.
2 year warranty* included and now supplied on an outright basis - no exchange required.

Please note: The distributor drive is not supplied, you will need to transfer distributor drive shaft and shims from old engine. For T2 76-> you will need to purchase a new late 200 mm clutch and change the two lower mounting studs as these are supplied with a 200 mm flywheel (the 215 mm is no longer available). Not for use in T25 models as replacement for CT code engine. |
