On a Type 181 (trekker, thing) and VW Iltis the underside of the windshield frame is unfortunately quite often subject to rust and rot. Repair being rather difficult, if not impossible,  we offer a perfect alternative with this replacement part. For use one the Type 181 you will have to reuse the original hinges, for the Iltis you’ll have to reuse the base plate to fix the hinges. For use on the Iltis you will also have to slightly enlarge the holes for the wiper axles to make them fit properly.
