This copper, oval-shaped gasket must be used when fitting a replacement T2 heat exchanger to the cylinder head.

Crush fitted, it cannot be re-used, and is intended for the 'stepped top' heat exchangers found on VW T2 Bays with 1700cc, 1800cc and 2000cc Type 4 engines from July 1972 to July 1978.
