These licence light lenses can be found in the licence light casing on the motor hood. Due to influences of temperature of the light on the one hand and the heath of the engine on the other hand, these lenses are very susceptible to age. They will yellowing and become fragile, so that the transparency disappears and the possibility of cracks grows. From that moment the license light is no longer protected, which can lead to damages of the license light or even a short-circuiting.
