Solex Twin 34mm Carburettor Kit with Choke, Type 4: T2 Bay (1972-1979), T25 (1980-1983)

CB Performance 34mm Solex electric choke carburettor kit, suitable for Type-4 1700, 1800 and 2000cc engines.

This kit is a stock replacement for original Solex carburettors but doesn't include a take off for the vacuum advance on a stock distributor, meaning a Bosch 009 distributor must be fitted. The complete kit includes carburettors, manifolds, air filters, linkage, fuel hose and all hardware to fit.

The linkage kit supplied is a push linkage not a pull linkage as described in the instructions. For optimum performance the kit will need to be setup on a rolling road. If adjustments/running at low speed prove a problem we would suggest replacing the smaller manifold barbs with AC1153971 and fit a length of 1/2inch hose balance pipe.

This carburettor kit uses a rebuild kit that is specific to this CB Performance kit. You will need CB performance part number 3297

This kit will not function correctly with an OE vacuum advance distributor. Update your engine with a 009 or 050 electronic ignition and a new coil.
