A common cause of premature wheel bearing wear can be derived from a worn or damaged wheel bearing spacer. This spacer installs onto the steering knuckle to provide support for the inner wheel bearing while riding within the wheel bearing seal to create a sealed environment. Worn or damaged spacers will disrupt the sealing abilities of the seal and allow foreign particles to enter the hub chamber
