Please note that this is a US specification indicator switch, which features a beam switch at the end of the stalk and two additional wires.

You’ll still be able to use this indicator switch on a UK- or EU-spec Beetle, but you’ll need to pay attention to the wiring information to ensure that you’re wiring it in correctly.
